This position will be responsible for supporting the varied inpatient population including critical care patients. Ideally, the candidate will be well versed in Nutrition support, and a variety of other patient populations. In addition, preferred candidate will be experienced in PI/QI initiatives. In the absence of this experience, be excited and able to learn these processes. This opportunity is exciting to be a part of the ambulatory nutrition services and grow your career!

• Are a registered dietitian with at least 2 years of experience in the acute care setting;
• preferred advance degree Masters and/or advanced certification or willing to obtain;

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
