Downeast Cider
Downeast Cider is the #1 craft hard cider brand in New England and #2 hard cider in the country. Our first batches of unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College, Maine. We're now a team of 100, with new roles opening across all departments.
We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office, taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.
Mission of the Role:
The mission of the Digital Marketing Manager is to boost our brand’s visibility and engagement, leading to increased sales. This is achieved by effectively using media platforms to connect with potential consumers, offering engaging content and turning these interactions into measurable business outcome.
What You'll Do:
Social Media Management:
- Formulate and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity and business goals.
- Lead the execution of a dynamic content calendar, ensuring content aligns with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with our in-house copywriter, photographer, and videographer to ensure timely content delivery.
Paid Media Supervision:
- Develop, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and adjust campaign budgets to maximize return on ad spend.
- Establish, track, and assess relevant paid media KPIs.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Evaluate and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives and target audiences to optimize efficiency.
- Research and stay up to date with digital marketing trends and best practices
Additional Responsibilities:
- Email Marketing: Refine email marketing strategies, lead their execution, and analyze the results.
- Influencer Marketing: Lead our influencer marketing strategy to meet our earned and paid KPIs. Identify and implement influencer initiatives to enhance audience acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Website Management: Work on establishing best in class UX for Downeast digital experiences as well as update website content as needed.
- SEO: Develop and execute search engine marketing strategies.
- Commercial Assets: Assist Trade Marketing and Sales teams in creating assets.
- Digital Assets: Manage internal digital assets.
- Undertake additional projects as needed, supporting Brand Manager responsibilities in executing brand strategies.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related emphasis
- 3 years of professional experience managing digital marketing, media marketing, brand marketing, e-commerce, or social media businesses
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and experience creating digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (minimum required: Instagram ads)
- Strong knowledge of the digital marketing industry, analytics tools, trends, and new developments
- Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking, analytical, & problem-solving skills and excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
