As a Program Manager for NA Flex Business Optimization, Strategy, and Scaling ( BOSS ) you will own strategy and initiatives around optimizing Cost, Quality, Capacity, and/or the Delivery Partner Experience. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including technology, operations, and marketing.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the long-term road map for improving Flex Cost, Quality, Capacity, and/or the Delivery Partner Experience across the Sub Same Day ( SSD ) delivery business
- Work closely with finance, marketing, capacity management, data science, engineering, and program management on process improvement and launch initiatives
- Effectively influence stakeholders through collaboration and effective prioritization
- Make difficult resource trade-offs and align Director and VP level leadership on inputs, outputs, and priorities
- Own key performance indicators and work closely with the business to understand day to day opportunities and pain points in order to implement short term and long term solves
- Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate level of quality and in line with its target date
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
