Salary:

Gregory FCA, one of the largest PR agencies in the nation, is looking for a highly-skilled Video Editor & Producer, with a primary focus on editing using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and the full Adobe Creative Suite. The ideal candidate will lead both production and post-production efforts, collaborate with the team on-site and remotely, and ensure high-quality deliverables by meeting deadlines and incorporating client feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Production: 
  • Collaborate with the members of the video team in studio and onsite.
  • Work with the team on all pre-production planning, shoot schedules, studio setup and breakdown, etc.
  • Lead production of video, photography and podcast projects on-location, in-studio and remotely recorded. Travel as needed for shoots.
• Editing:
  • Daily use of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, and proficient in the full Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables. 
  • Perform peer reviews of video work and provide constructive feedback on an ongoing basis. 
  • Accept and implement all project feedback to continually refine and improve video content.
  • Design graphics and animations according to client brand guidelines to enhance visual storytelling and create interest.
• Agency Role:
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the video team and larger creative team to discuss current projects, brainstorm new ideas, and stay updated on the latest creative trends.
  • Educate account teams and clients on the video production process, and work with them to conceptualize their videos from a creative standpoint, making the most effective product for their use case.
  • Assist project managers/account managers in establishing realistic timelines and project budgets.
  • Develop a general knowledge of Gregory FCA’s service offerings and clients’ businesses.
  • Willingness to adopt new technologies and trends. 

Education:

• Undergraduate degree in a Film, Photography, Creative Arts, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in a related creative field preferred (agency experience is a plus)

Experience/Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe CS (particularly Premiere, After Effects, Audition)
• Highly skilled with lighting theory and design, in audio recording and mixing and with video production and photography equipment
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once
• Listens to account teams and clients and provides solutions to their video needs
• Creative mind with storytelling skills
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to know when to take direction, and when to speak up when something’s not right
• Strong communication skills
• Solution oriented
• Positive, upbeat and proactive attitude
• Able to set and meet deadlines, communicate and meet expectations
• Understanding of basic design standards and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under tight deadlines
